Patches formerly
belonged to a lady who did not get her cats spayed/neutered and soon
ended up with almost 60 cats. APAWS has rescued 30 cats so far, which
have either been adopted or are currently in a foster home. One of these
lucky kitties was Patches.
Patches caught the
eye of a lady who was looking for a Maine Coon and came across our posting
regarding this rescue. When she saw the photograph of Patches she fell
in love immediately. Patches was picked up from her former home and
brought to meet her potential new family. When she came in their residence
she made herself right at home and won the hearts of the family. She
was fostered for a couple of weeks to make sure she and the family's
other animals would get along. Now they couldn't imagine their life
without her.
Her new guardian
sent us some photographs and some news about her new life.
"As you can
see she likes to watch the Bearded Dragons and now she has found the
crickets we feed them. She has gained almost 2lbs. since she came
to live with us. She is a great fit for our family. She is happy and
we are happy she is here. Thank you so much for allowing us to adopt
her. This is a happy tail."
